Deposit Information

Should you place a deposit?
The choice is entirely up to you. The puppies sell quite quickly and in most cases there is already a waiting list when puppies are born. Placing a deposit guarantees you get a chance to pick from the litters. The selection order and the actual litter will depend entirely on the number of deposits on hand the the number/gender of pups in any given litter.

We require a $250.00 deposit to hold your new puppy or reserve a puppy from a future litter. We cannot hold a puppy or put you on the list until we have received a deposit. Please do not ask for an exception. We must be fair to our buyers and cannot reserve a certain puppy until a deposit is received. Once your deposit is received that certain puppy goes on reserved status and is considered your puppy. Deposits are non-refundable.

Breeder does reserve the right to have first pick of any litter.

The selection process starts when the puppies are 5 weeks old.

Puppies are normally ready to go home by 8 weeks of age.

I do produce puppies with show potential. Breeding rights are required to show your dog in AKC sponsored events and some other venues.  If you require breeding rights, please contact us to discuss the additional steps need to secure breeding rights.

How can you pay for your puppy?
We will accept Visa/Mastercard through PayPal, bank certified cashier’s checks, and cash for the deposit. Personal checks will be accepted with an advance time of 14 or more days. Personal checks will not be accepted at pickup for balances due. Cash is required for the balance of the puppy which is due at pick-up.

Because my puppies are very special to me and I take my job of placing puppies in safe and happy homes very seriously, I reserve the right at any time to refuse the sale of a puppy in the case that I do not feel comfortable with the placement. The placements will always be made in the puppies best interests.

You can mail deposits payable to Double Gap Farm, P.O. Box 577, Appling, GA 30802
